Bio

Ecem Bozkurt is a visionary artist based in Türkiye, known for creating vibrant, dreamlike acrylic paintings that explore imagination, emotion, and transformation She holds a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where she developed a strong foundation in design, form, and color theory. She has participated in live painting at three “Tree of Life” festivals, bringing her art directly to audiences and creating immersive experiences. In 2025, Ecem was selected as a finalist in Beautiful Bizarre Magazine’s “Emerging Artist” category and featured in an interview with Creativepool magazine. She is currently working from her home studio and preparing for her first group exhibition, Gems 3, at Nanny Goat Gallery in California.

 Artist’s Statement

I create acrylic paintings that bridge imagination and emotion, offering viewers a passage into landscapes beyond the ordinary. Inspired by the rhythm of nature and the depth of human experience, I infuse my work with a sense of connection to ourselves, to each other, to nature, and to the worlds we dream of. I weave elements of realism into these
imaginary worlds, grounding the surreal with tangible, familiar details. This fusion allows me to create a delicate balance between the fantastical and the believable, giving viewers a portal into a world that feels both otherworldly and intimately real.
