Propagation

While sketching for this piece, I found myself thinking about vulnerability and its relationship with trust, strength, and growth. I was drawn to the idea that the same experiences capable of wounding us can also become catalysts for healing and transformation. I explored this idea through the metaphor of propagating rose cuttings in water. The figure understands the possibility of harm, yet chooses openness nonetheless as she offers the knife. Her gesture is one of trust, but also an invitation to participate in something living, something that may grow beyond either person alone.

This piece is about vulnerability, strength, and growth.

It's a reminder that we are often far more capable of flourishing from our cuts and wounds than we realize. :)
